About the Program:
The Student Leadership Challenge is an internationally regarded curriculum which has been developed over four decades and informed by research. Shafer Leadership Academy’s Program Director, Tisha Gierhart, is a certified Leadership Challenge instructor. Leadership is not at all about personality; it’s about practice. This program provides guidance for leaders as they attempt to keep their own bearings and guide others toward peak achievements. We will explore the five practices common to personal-best leadership experiences. Leaders who get extraordinary things done Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart.
