Session #2:

Within our world today, many are rising up to the role of ally, advocate, and even co-conspirator. There are significant differences between these roles and there are times when all roles are critical. In this session, we will define the different ways individuals, and organizations, can take action against discrimination and inequities that exist in our communities.

Learning Objectives

  1. Reflect upon personal experiences and the impact these have on how we take action
  2. Define roles of advocacy and provide examples to move forward with a stronger social justice lens
  3. Craft an action plan to take action against inequities that exist in our communities

This program is ideal for: all will benefit from this session
