Uncovering Our Blind Spots

We are much less self-aware than we think we are (75 % of us are wrong about our level of self-awareness, if you believe recent studies). And one key area of Emotionally Intelligent leadership is self-awareness, particularly when it comes to the effectiveness of our communication. So, if we don’t even know what we’re not doing well, how can we do better? Participants dive into the truth of our “blind spots” and how they get in our way and will learn strategies for minimizing their blind spots while maximizing their self-awareness.

Learning Objectives

  1.  Discover places we might have “blind spots” in our own awareness and communication
  2.  Learn tangible ways to increase our self-awareness
  3.  Learn strategies to improve our team communication

Cost: Free for SLA Members. $50 non-member. $30 nonprofits.

Individuals who are either unemployed or connected with an employer who is unable to pay can request scholarships for any of our programs.
