Eilis Wasserman

Program Manager

Eilis (A-lish) Wasserman’s passion for the virtual realm and holistic leadership development lead her to join Shafer Leadership Academy’s team at the onset of the pandemic in 2020.

Eilis knows digital learning is a growing and integral way to bring learners together in community and she is dedicated to doing that in engaging and meaningful ways as Shafer’s Virtual Program Manager.

In her role, Eilis is a virtual facilitator and coach focused on cultivating confidence and inspiring self-discovery. She is also an introvert advocate in her work as a coach guiding introverts to shine as their best selves.

She has a background in career development and higher education, recently working for Ball State University Career Center, The University of Michigan Engineering Career Resource Center, and The Muse as a Career Coach. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Saint Mary’s College and her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Dayton.

Eilis enjoys connecting with other professionals regionally and across the nation learning about virtual best practices. For six years, she has served as the Director of Professional Development and as a Committee Lead for the Midwest Association of Colleges and Employers.

Eilis has been inspired by Shafer Leadership’s mission as an alumnus of the Emergence Program. She is committed to empowering positive change in others and inclusively elevating this impact virtually to all.
