Virtual Program Sessions

Shafer Leadership sessions are led by facilitators who guide participants to learn in community together around a leadership development topic. Facilitation is different than lecturing, webinar, or presentation style format.

Facilitation is the act of engaging participants in creating, discovering, and applying learning insights. (ATD)

This workshop is a 2 part immersive and engaging format that asks for active participation from all attendees. Due to the in-depth and interactive nature of this longer workshop format, we ask that all attendees come to the session with their VIDEO ON to mirror what engagement would be like if we all attended in-person face to face. We realize technical issues may arise and our digital producer will do her best to address those.

This program is a great way to start your day and learn in 90 mins about a new topic. This session is an immersive and engaging format that encourages participation from attendees. We recommend participants join with their VIDEO ON if possible to create the best learning experience for everyone.

Technology: All virtual sessions will be held on Zoom.  Participants will be sent an automatic email with a personal Zoom link.. If your audio or video does not seem to be working, try to leave the Zoom session and come back. We recommend participants update their Zoom accounts at least every six months for optimum performance.

Specific virtual tools beyond Zoom like virtual whiteboards may be utilized during the session and participants will be informed and educated how to engage with these tools.

Recording: All virtual sessions will be recorded and provided to those that register for 30 day after the session. Not all parts of the session will be recorded as Zoom breakout sessions are not able to be recorded. Due to the facilitative nature of our sessions, we ask that participants plan to attend live instead of registering for the sole purpose to receive the recording. Your best learning will come from engaging with other participants.
