This is an opportunity for your team to tap unreached potential. This session begins with an overview of the benefits of having diverse teams and explores the common barriers to full realization of these strengths. By examining common patterns of thinking that limit team growth, participants will learn the value of diversity and inclusion and develop strategies that they can apply to their daily work habits.

About Our Facilitator

Melinda Messineo, PhD is a professor of Sociology and the Distinguished Faculty Fellow for Inclusive Excellence and Community Engagement at Ball State University. She is a nationally recognized award winning teacher and workshop facilitator. Her research explores representations of individuals in the media and the impact that all media forms have on our understanding of people different from ourselves.
