Back to normal…” “Remember the good old days?”

[blockquote]

This isn’t a political statement but maybe you’re like me and have grown tired of the “unprecedented times” we “find ourselves in” or the fact that an “abundance of caution” is needed in every choice we make. Maybe you like the rules and find comfort in the routine but are struggling with how to live and work when there are not as many guardrails or familiarity when it comes to how you do it. Are you looking for an “adultier adult” to give you direction or help lead the way? This session may (or may not) be for you! In this hybrid session, we will provide some content and then a chance to chat with each other to provide a new guidebook to help up navigate. We will do that through Practicing social graces online as we work from home Charting a new course as we return to work Reflecting and planning in your style (Introvert vs. Extrovert) to meet yours and others’ needs

About Our Facilitator

James Mitchell

A Chicago native and Muncie transplant, James Mitchell has made his home here since 2000. He has been a storyteller (for the first Facing Project: Facing Poverty) and a writer (Facing Disabilities). James is proud of the work that he and his friends get to support through the Facing Project board.

James also serves his community as the current chair of the board for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie and as a member of the Greater Muncie Habitat for Humanity Homeowner Selection Committee.

When not out in the community, James get paid to be the Director of Human Resources and Employee Experience at Minnetrista. He’s also a dog dad to a three-year-old Lab mix, Lady, and has really fallen in love with making pottery (at Cornerstone).
